No — you can't get no-filter chat on Solm8 in 2026, because the service itself has gone dark: solm8.ai stopped resolving between August and October 2026, and the archived site's last captured version offered plans named Crush, Spark, Essentials and Soulmate with a first-month-free Crush tier (30-minute voice calls, 15 calls, video chat, memory, Telegram and web chat). Before the disappearance, Solm8 was a voice-first AI companion known for a genuine outbound phone number with natural-feeling latency and cross-channel persistence across phone, Telegram and web. If you're hunting platforms that are actually unrestricted versus merely marketed that way, our filter-transparency matrix publishes cells only after verification.

Solm8
Solm8 was a voice-first AI companion platform built around a persistent cross-channel companion: the same character reachable by outbound phone call, on Telegram, and through web chat. Its most distinctive capability was providing users a genuine outbound phone number with natural-feeling latency — a feature third-party reviewer Flirton.ai called out specifically — with call latency described at under roughly 500ms. Users could create a companion with a custom name, personality and voice, and the platform supported video chat and persistent memory. The last archived version of solm8.ai (captured August 2026) listed four plans — Crush, Spark, Essentials and Soulmate — with a first-month-free Crush tier covering 30-minute voice calls, 15 calls, video chat, memory, Telegram and web chat, plus a free account via Google sign-in. Community feedback before the shutdown was largely positive on the voice experience, with no complaints found. Sometime between August and October 2026 the domain stopped resolving entirely, and the disappearance itself has become the dominant community signal. There is currently no active service, no support channel, and no way to verify any of its filter behavior.

- The brand name is now shared with an unrelated cricket-shoe brand, muddying search results

FAQs
Is Solm8 still working in 2026?
No. The solm8.ai domain stopped resolving sometime between August and October 2026, and the last archived capture of the site is dated August 7, 2026. There is no active service, no status page, and no operator statement we can point to. Any current page claiming to be Solm8 should be treated with skepticism until the original domain resolves again.
Did Solm8 have a free tier?
Yes, historically. The archived site offered a first-month-free deal on the Crush plan that included 30-minute voice calls, 15 calls, video chat, memory, Telegram and web chat, plus a free account option via Google sign-in. All of this is historical — there is no live service to sign up for now.
What was Solm8 known for?
Voice-first AI companionship. Its standout feature was a genuine outbound phone number for your AI companion with natural-feeling latency (described at under roughly 500ms), plus persistence across phone, Telegram and web chat, video chat, memory, and companion customization for name, personality and voice. Flirton.ai specifically praised the phone-call experience.
Was Solm8 actually unfiltered?
We never published a verified filter-transparency cell for Solm8, and now we can't — verification requires a live service to test. Before the disappearance we found no community complaints about filtering, but absence of complaints is not verification. If the service ever returns, it goes into our testing queue like any other claim.
Why do search results for Solm8 show cricket shoes?
There is an unrelated cricket-shoe brand also called SOLM8, sold at retailers like FICC, Dream Cricket Store, Cricket Closet and Noon, with a wholesale presence on Faire out of Redwood City, CA. It has no connection to the AI companion service. The name collision makes researching the defunct AI product harder, which is part of why we maintain this record.
